- Open the Sentinel door to reveal the
setting mechanism.
- Remove the setting key.
- Choose a combination and write it down
prior to setting the Sentinel. (A normal pin number is four digits,
however we recommend using more numbers or choosing a name e.g DAVIS
which would be 32847)
- Using the setting key, turn the yellow
dial of the chosen digit, e.g. 3, 180 degrees, so that the arrow is
pointing away from you.
- Repeat this for each chosen
number/letter.
- Test combination prior to closing the
lid (see note 1)
1. After setting if you push the opening lever, it will
appear to be locked.
2. Enter your combination to test the function.
3. Re-enter combination and push lever to close.
- Return setting key to original position
for future use.

Wall Mounting your
Sentinel

NOTE: you will require a X-head/Pozi screwdriver, pencil, a spirit
level, drill bit, a drill and a hammer.
- Open the Sentinel door, as above.
- Position the Sentinel on the desired mounting surface (see note 1).
- Use the sprit level to check that the Sentinel is vertical.
- Mark the position of the screw holes on the desired surface.
- Remove Sentinel.
- Drill holes.
- Use hammer to fit wall plug. (if necessary).
- Position Sentinel.
- Insert and tighten screws.
- Close the storage compartment.
- Scramble the combination dials to lock the Sentinel door and conceal
your combination. Then close shutter hatch.

NOTES:
1. We suggest that you mount your Sentinel in a discrete location away
from direct view, such as porches, garage, out of direct eye line.
2. Keep shutter hatch closed to increase weather resistance and to conceal
the dials from view. The release lever will open the Sentinel until you
scramble the dials.
